GENERALWhat is a zine?
A zine (fanzine or fan-magazine) is a collection of illustrations and written works that revolve around a singular theme or character. They are essentially an artbook made out of the interests and passions of fans with artists and content creators alike!What is the theme of this zine?
We aim to produce a zine that focuses on Lumine. This is a general zine that features different illustrations of her image and prose of her character.Will there be any illustrations/fics of Abyss Lumine?
Depending on the responses to our interest check, there might be a possibility of a side zine focused on Abyss Lumine.Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?
This zine project will be for profit. Once we meet production costs and cover complementary bundles to our contributors, any remaining proceeds will be split evenly among all contributors after we hold leftover sales.Will the zine be physical or digital?
The format of the zine will be both digital and physical with merch.What are the zine’s specs?
The zine will be in B5 size and perfect-bound. All content will be SFW (PG-13) that focuses solely on Traveller Lumine.Will the zine feature ships or other characters?
Since this zine’s main focus is Lumine, we would like all illustrations and prose to feature her. Other characters are welcome to interact in the background. Any explicit ships will not be portrayed in this zine.CONTRIBUTORSHow will contributors be compensated?
Contributors are guaranteed to receive a PDF copy of the zine. Complementary zines or full merch bundles will depend entirely on our sales. In the event we cannot cover complimentary copies, contributors will have the option to purchase their bundle at production cost.How many contributors are you accepting?
We will be accepting around 31 contributors with 20 page artists, 4 merch artists, and 7 writers. With our 5 guests of 3 page artists and 2 merch artists, we will have a total of 36 contributors.Can anyone apply?
Yes, however, the minimum age requirement is 16. We do not judge or grade contributors based on their shipping preferences.We have a no-tolerance policy. Any applicants/contributors caught or reported to do any of the behaviours listed below will result in disqualification of the application or immediate removal from the project.Behaviours that are not tolerable:
- Engagement in harassment and/or bullying.
- Bigotry (ie. racism, sexism, homo/transphobia, ableism, etc.)
- Endorsement or condoning of abuse, incest, and pedophilia.Will you accept traditional artworks?
Yes! We accept traditional artworks. Please make sure to provide a clean scan with a minimum resolution of 300dpi.May I draw Lumine in a different outfit?
Yes, you can draw Lumine in different outfits but please make sure Lumine is still recognizable!Are AUs allowed?
AUs are very welcomed! The only theme that we don't allow as the main focus is Abyss Lumine. The implication of this Lumine is fine, but it should not be the focal point.
